Why I built this
I've been collecting can coolers for almost 10 years. Every bar, event, and travel location, I try to find a can cooler to add to my collection. I have over 150 unique can coolers, and I use them frequently.
After having some drinks with friends on a warm day in Austin, it hit me: my traditional foam and neoprene can coolers fold flat, but don't insulate that well. My higher-end metal can coolers insulate well, but they're bulky and don't travel well.
I wanted to create something in the middle: a better performer than traditional folding can coolers, but still folds flat. That's where Crisphold was born.
